Breakfast at the hotel. Arenal volcano is located in the San Carlos plains, which are known for the beautiful landscapes, quaint villages, and peculiar weather. This majestic volcano imposes admiration due to its powerful lava and ash expulsions that at night seems like colorful fireworks, making it one of the major active volcanoes of the Americas. As if this wasn’t enough, right at the base of the volcano, where you can practically feel its rumble, there is a visit to an exquisite garden with hot springs; this rounds up an evening of fascinating natural charm. Days 3
Breakfast at the hotel. Experience the peacefulness of the forest traveling on the Peñas Blancas River with the opportunity to observe many different animals such as monkeys, sloth, iguanas, tortoises, crocodiles and numerous bird species. Our boat doesn’t use a motor so that you can enjoy the sounds of nature as we paddle down the river offering you the best opportunity to take photos. You will be accompanied by an experienced naturalist guide who will explain many fascinating details about the trees, plants, birds and animals.
