Days 1
Arrival. A representative from our company will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the Country Inn & Suites in San Jose. Overnight at the Hotel El Rodeo, standard rooms. Breakfast is included.
Days 2
We begin our journey driving by the city of Alajuela passing by the monument of our National Hero "Juan Santamaria". We then start to ascend to the mountains passing through coffee plantations on the way to the Poas Volcano National Park. You will feel a change in temperature and the lush vegetation becomes apparent, preparing us for the pleasures of the exuberant cloud forest of this area. On a clear day the view of the main crater is admired by all visitors, its diameter is considered one of the widest in the world. Midmorning return to San Jose. Overnight at the Hotel El Rodeo, standard rooms. Breakfast included
Days 3
Early in the morning, you will be picked up at the hotel, for your Whitewater rafting adventure. After a short safety briefing, you will rig your raft and begin the journey downriver. This narrow, low-volume river is ideal for white-water novices, as well as families, all of whom will enjoy its moderately flowing rapids, interspersed with tranquil stretches. The journey is also excellent for bird-watchers and other nature lovers, as the river stretches its way through lush vegetation that is home to hummingbirds, toucans, woodpeckers, and scores of other native bird species. Don't miss this classic tropical river experience! Lunch is served on the banks of the river. Take out will be in the afternoon, at which time you can change into dry clothes. Transfer will be provided to the Rainforest Lodge. Arrival to the Rain Forest Aerial Tram where participants will be greet and welcomed by their friendly staff, at this boarding area guests will be invited to board for the tractor experience, as participants will enter the facility in an open-air coach pulled by a tractor. A stop will be done for a short walk through the hanging bridge, where they can experience the fascination of the forest and the clear fresh water river that is filled with machacas, a local fish. Night hike tour, with your local guide. Dinner included that night. Overnight at the Rainforest Lodge, jungle bungalows.
Days 4
An informational video will be presented at our Video Room where the forest, not walls, surrounds the room, which is perfect to gather participants and introduce them tour project. After this short video presentation guests will proceed to the boarding station for the Tram Ride the idea is to show all visitors the different levels of a rainforest, including the treetops or canopy - the hardest level to access and up to now the least scientifically known part of the forest. The Tram ride takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Afternoon Canopy tour adventure. Enjoy one of the Aerial Tram“s newest attractions! Gets the adrenalin going as you glide through the zip lines and enjoy the views of the beautiful rainforest? Nightly Butterfly presentation by an expert naturalist guide where the group will have the opportunity of learning about the different kinds of butterflies that exist at our Forest. Overnight at the Rainforest Lodge, jungle bungalows. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Days 5
Early morning Bird watching tour (6:00 am) At this time in the morning, participants will have the opportunity to appreciate the most common species found at the forest like butterflies, birds including toucans, parrots, woodpeckers, sparrow hawks, eagle-hawks, tanagers, wrens and many others. After that, Breakfast at the restaurant. Then a Guided walking through the trails on our trails you can appreciate the heart of the rainforest; where there is an abundance of plant and animal species. From these trails we perceive the forest in a different way; we have more time to take pictures, search for wildlife or stop in a specific spot and look around us. That is why the walk through our trails and the Aerial Tram ride is an excellent combination to get to know and appreciate the rain forest from the ground to the treetops. Rest of the morning free time for unlimited tram rides or use of the trails after lunch, return to San Jose. Overnight at the Hotel El Rodeo, standard rooms. Breakfast included.

Departure. Private transfer will be provided to the International airport. End of services.
