Welcome to the “Marvelous City”. Reception at International Airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel
Days 2
Breakfast at hotel’s restaurant. After breakfast, you will go for a half day tour visiting the Corcovado. A Must on every itinerary, this tour features one of the true wonders of the world. The 120 foot statue of The Christ of Redeemer atop the Corcovado (hunchback) mountain. Drive through the Laranjeiras residential district and quaint Cosme Velho to the Corcovado train station where you will board the cogwheel train for a 15 minutes ride up the mountain to the statue's base. Once there, at an elevation of 2,400 feet, you will marvel at the construction sculpture features and outstretched arms spreading above the spectacular panorama of Rio de Janeiro. The beaches, the Guanabara bay, buildings and bridges fanning out in a magnificent 360 degree panoramic view. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Days 3
Morning at Leisure Optonial Tour: Starting at the hotel, you will drive along famous beaches, such as Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana and Leme, reaching Praia Vermelha or Red Beach, in the Urca district. There, a cable car ascent is made in two stages toward the top of the Sugar Loaf Mountain. It will take three minutes to reach the first stage, the Urca mountain., where the gardens and sightseeing view will invite you to enjoy this midway stop before proceeding to the peak; where the crescent of the Atlantic ocean beaches comes fully into view and you will be amazed and certain of the city's beauty.
