Upon arrival to Panama you will be picked up at the airport by our representative and transferred to your city hotel where you spend your first night in Panama. The city is the capital and largest city in the country. It is home to a diverse blend of cultures and a enormous historical sector in the Old City. This district is famous for its Spanish fortifications and numerous colonial buildings. Panama City is a thrilling location you will surely enjoy during your visit to this gorgeous country. The Country Inn & Suites on El Dorado Boulevard is located in one of the best areas of Panama City and just a few steps away from the El Dorado Mall, a shopper’s paradise. Days 2
Today you take a tour through this cosmopolitan city. Enjoy the gorgeous view of the skyscrapers, the noble mansions and the green hills. Afterwards you will visit a small marketplace where you can find lovely Indian handicrafts. Then, you will walk along the shoreline into the old part of the town called Casco Antiguo. There, you will view the main buildings and landmarks: the President’s Palace, the remarkable cathedral and the San José church with its splendorous altar. The trip leads afterwards to the Causeway, from where you will have a wonderful view of Panama’s skyline and Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal. Free day in Panama City. Relax at your hotel, book an optional tour or enjoy some of the best shopping in Central America. Panama City has various malls offering good quality at a reasonable price. The biggest malls are Albrook Mall near the domestic airport and the Shopping Center Los Pueblos. Overnight at the Country Inn and Suites El Dorado, breakfast included.

Days 5
Panama City Special Page 2 Today in the early morning, you will be driven up north towards Lake Alajuela. Once there, you will board a small boat, which will take you to Chagres River. You will explore lush jungle and exotic wildlife during your journey. While visiting the Embera Indians, you will be set back in time, as you observe the culture of people who have preserved their traditions for hundreds of years. A typical lunch will be served at the Embera Village. Overnight at the Country Inn and Suites El Dorado, breakfast included.
Days 6
Tour to Anton Valley in the province of Cocle, located 600 meters above sea level and is believed to be the crater of an ancient volcano. Visit the residential area, the famous fruits and handicrafts market, the Macho waterfall, the thermal poles, and the Nispero Farm where you can watch the famous golden frogs. Afterwards lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Overnight at the Country Inn and Suites El Dorado, breakfast included.
Days 7
Today you will dive into history. In the morning you will have the chance to enjoy a partial* crossing of the historical Panama Canal. You will pass different locks and receive interesting information about the history of the Canal. You will see the enormous cargo ships maneuvers through the canal. Afterwards, you will have a nice lunch on the ship. After you return to the hotel, you will have the rest of the afternoon to spend at your leisure. Days 8
You will be transferred to the Tocumen Airport for your international flight back home.
