Days 1
Arrival at the international airport of Cartagena , meeting with the guide and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Days 2
Breakfast included and morning city tour. Driving from the hotel through Bocagrande, the modern residential district, we will reach the Convent of La Popa built at the beginning of the XVII century on the hill of the same name. From there a beautiful view of the city and the bay can be seen. Continuation of the tour with a stop at San Felipe's Fort, built in the XVII century to protect the city. After a careful look to the construction, continuation to the walled colonial city and stop at the handcraft stores of Las Bovedas. From there a walk along the streets will be made to admire the old houses and beautiful balconies . Arrival at the Convent of San Pedro Claver for a visit. Return to the hotel . Afternoon at leisure. Overnight.
Days 3
Breakfast and transfer to the Tourist pier .Departure from the pier by motorboat to the beautiful islands of El Rosario, located 1 1/2 hrs. south of the Bay of Cartagena. There, right to the Isla del Encanto , a beautiful resort for the day tour, with about 200 meters of white sand beaches and crystal clear water . A nice swimming pool with sea water can be used as well as many hammocks to take a rest. Lunch included and during the early afternoon return to Cartagena . Overnight.
Days 4
Breakfast and by private transportation during half an hour to the fisher village of La Boquilla. From there one hour by dugout canoes driven by natives, along the mangrove labyrinths of the swamps nearby Cartagena. Possibility to observe different kinds of animals that live in the mangrove areas as birds , crabs or very seldom little foxes. Return to the city. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening participation in a RUMBA TOUR. This is a tour to experience Cartagena during a night ride in a typical CHIVA ( open bus ) with live music and all the rum you can drink. Drive along the old city and the illuminated walls that surround the colonial area, opportunity to taste the famous fries of Cartagena (filled empanadas, corn arepas with egg, mandioc cakes,etc) during 45 minutes after that, entrance to a discotheque with a welcome drink included. Return to the hotel . Overnight.
Days 5
Breakfast and during the day transfer to the airport for the next flight. END OF SERVICES
